Holiday Club Session

Name of Organisation: Just Like My Child Foundation

These club sessions target young adolescent girls and boys that are on school holidays so that they can continue to access the Girl Power Project® with the aim of building their confidence, making informed decisions that impact their lives, prevent child a forced marriage and teenage pregnancy.

These sessions are led by girl and boy mentors that are supported by Community Volunteers within a school community that has previously taken part in the Girl Power Project® workshops and are encouraged to pass on the knowledge they have gained to their peers during holidays.

This holiday, a session at Bukasa R/C P/S in Zirobwe town council Luwero district was organized with attendance 20 girls and 2 boys Key commitment. Encourage Volunteers to organize more sessions where girls can share thoughts with their fellows about issues affecting them Do support supervision in communities that are committed to mobilizing dialogues and aid where need be.
