UYAHF Community & School Outreaches – Bukwo District Brief Description/Impact: In March 2025, UYAHF conducted a week-long campaign in Bukwo District addressing SGBV, FGM, child marriage, and menstrual hygiene challenges.
Activities included school outreaches on puberty and period myths, reusable sanitary pad training, radio talk shows on male engagement, and cross-border dialogues to end FGM. Over 100 community members participated in the closing athletics event calling for an end to harmful practices.
