School mentorship
Women Effort for Inclusive Development Initiative conducted a one school mentorship on 2nd/ August/ 2025 at Soma secondary school in Arua City.
Integrated School & Community Engagement
In April and May 2025, UYAHF held male engagement forums, traditional “Ekyoto” sessions, school outreaches, and community dialogue in Kalangala District. The sessions focused on child marriage prevention, teenage pregnancy reduction, and youth-friendly SRH services.

UYAHF Community & School Outreaches – Bukwo District Brief Description/Impact: In March 2025, UYAHF conducted a week-long campaign in Bukwo District addressing SGBV, FGM, child marriage, and menstrual hygiene challenges.
Our Own Desire Nalwoga (Hard of hearing) joins Uganda Martrys University
We congratulate Desire a girl with hearing impairment. We have supported her to stay in school as strategy for ending child marriage.

Our organization undertook a series of activities aimed at community empowerment, focusing on ending child marriages and reducing teenage pregnancies.
#Hike4GirlsUg campaign
The 8th Annual #Hike4GirlsUg campaign took place on 19th July 2025 as we climbed the iconic Tororo Rock in Eastern Uganda. Since 2017, Raising Teenagers Uganda has been hosting annual hikes that are aimed at breaking the stigma around menstruation for school going girls and out of school adolescents in rural communities of Uganda.
Three Community dialogues on male engagement to end teenage pregnancy
We convened three community dialogues, two at the local level (Nsambya Kirombe Grounds on 26 March 2025 and Luwero Apartments Hotel on 4 April 2025, and one national-level dialogue (Hilton Garden Inn Hotel on 16 April 2025), bringing together 150 stakeholders to address teenage pregnancy and early marriage through a male engagement strategy.
Dissemination of the Ngwedo Sub-County Bye-Law on Ending Child Marriage and Teenage Pregnancy
We facilitated the enactment and community-wide dissemination of a historic Bye-Law on Ending Child Marriage and Teenage Pregnancy in Ngwedo Sub-County.
