These club sessions target young adolescent girls and boys that are on school holidays so that they can continue to access the Girl Power Project® with the aim of building their confidence, making informed decisions that impact their lives, prevent child a forced marriage and teenage pregnancy.

The project aimed to empower vulnerable and marginalized adolescent girls and young women to live quality lives with equity, dignity, and opportunities to realize their full potential.
Skill development training through CLASS innovation hub and promoting Gender equality through champions of change approach
Empowering young people to promote and advocate for gender equality Trained 20 youth in skills development to economically empower them to overcome pressure of child marriage and teenage pregnancy.
Training and Entrepreneurship
The project is training 100 young mothers who got pregnant during COVID 19 and failed to go back to school due to young motherhood, the project target is 100 young mothers from poor families, the objective is skilling young mothers for economic development, we need more machines because the number of machines we have are over congested.
Reentry and skilling of young mothers
Reentry and skilling young mothers at Central Girls Vocational School -Luwero district. Promoting second chance education and life skills training for girls and young women aged 13 -20 years affected by teenage pregnancy and child marriage.
Training women and men in business skills
The activity aimed at training 120 women and men in business skills in 2 villages of Kamandindi and Mvulenunda in Buliisa District.
4th National Stakeholders Dialogue on Adolescent Health/ EmpowerHER Schools project, Mukono
PEERU’s 2025 Action to End Child Marriages and Teenage Pregnancies In 2025 (January to July 2025), Peer To Peer Uganda (PEERU) significantly advanced efforts to end child marriages and teenage pregnancies through impactful school-based programming and national-level advocacy.

Financial Literacy and Income Generation Skilling
We successfully conducted financial literacy training sessions for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW), aimed at equipping them with practical financial skills in saving, budgeting, entrepreneurship, and collective action. These sessions also encouraged the formation of Village Saving and Loan Associations (VSLAs).
Skilling – Fashion & Design Cohort 2025
Rhythm of Life – Skilling Initiative: Tailoring Project Rhythm of Life (ROL) continues to contribute to ending child marriages and teenage pregnancies through its targeted Skilling Initiative, with the Tailoring Project being a key intervention.
Project Launch
Youth Partnership Uganda with other cluster members formed a Powering Girls Cluster in kasese whose goal is to build girls to be resilient by building their confidence in reporting and demanding for collective actions that builds girls strength.

Environment campaign, Food & Nutrition and SRHR Awareness
We also organized an Environment Day activity through “The Dream School Programme,” promoting environmental conservation and sustainability. This included environmental awareness messages, sensitization about gender-based violence, tree planting, and distribution of tree species.
