FOLU is a women led CBO found in Otuke District. the organization was formed in December 2012 to respond to the challenges that were being faced and are still being faced by women and girls in and out of school. FOLU works with and through other stakeholders in the District so as to achieve its own vision and mission statement, the renewed registration certificate number is OTDLG/2023/007 with Otuke District Local Government.
FOLU Vision is to create a peaceful, equal, balanced, and a prosperous society that is free from any kind discrimination based on sex, age, colour, and race.
The Mission of FOLU is to advance the status of women and girls through the promotion of livelihood and economic empowerment programmes, promotion of SRHRs, and education programmes for Orphans and Vulnerable children.
