The SCOPE Foundation (SCOPE) is a non-profit, grassroots organization that provides need-based, equitable support to promote the rights and well-being of children in Uganda with incarcerated parents while also preparing them to become responsible and resourceful individuals. It was founded and formally registered as a community-based organization in 2016 and as a non-profit company in 2018.

Objectives:
Reducing Stigma and Discrimination Against Children With Incarcerated Parents
Work towards eliminating the social stigma faced by children with incarcerated parents by engaging in community awareness campaigns, fostering public understanding, and advocating for non-discriminatory policies at schools and community institutions.
Improving Access to Education and Psychosocial Support
Provide equitable access to education, vocational training, and counseling to ensure that children with incarcerated parents are equipped with the skills and emotional resilience to thrive despite their challenging circumstances.
Strengthening Legal and Social Protection Frameworks for Vulnerable Children
Collaboratively advocate for policies and programs that protect the rights of children with incarcerated parents, ensuring their inclusion and promoting their overall well-being.
