VVIVA Women and Girls’ Foundation is a non-profit organization registered as a company limited by Guarantee under Registration No. 80034360865814, and a community-based organization under registration No. IDLG/044/2023 in Iganga district. VVIVA is a women-founded and women-led grassroot organization committed to promoting the rights of women, girls, vulnerable children, and youths for inclusive development in Iganga district. We are located in Nabikoote village, Namungalwe sub county in Iganga district.

Our entry point into the community is a center-based Early Childhood Development Centre (ECD) and Primary school for the marginalized and vulnerable children, among others, the ones under the care of single mothers, neglected teenage mothers, differently abled women, elderly caregivers, orphans, and child-headed households.

Our Vision: A community where all people are empowered to create opportunities for themselves and those within their influence.
Our Mission: To build the capacity of people and communities to enhance their well-being and create socio-economic environments in which they can thrive.
Our Core values: Stewardship, Integrity, Accountability, Transparency, Building others, and Good Governance.

VVIVA’s five-year strategic objectives are;

  1. Improved Maternal, Child, and Reproductive Health outcomes in Namungalwe, Iganga district by December 2029.
  2. Enhanced access to Early Learning and Education services for children aged 0 to 17 years in Namungalwe, Iganga district by December 2029.
  3. Increased access to opportunities for youth aged 15-24 in Entrepreneurship, Engagement, and Social Protection in Namungalwe, Iganga district by December 2029.
  4. Improved food security and household incomes among the Women and the DEV populations in Namungalwe, Iganga district by December 2029.
  5. Improved prevention and response to protection concerns (Protection, GBV, and Mental Health) for children and women 0-24 years in the Namungalwe, Iganga district by December 2029.
    Key thematic areas include; Advocacy, Health, Basic Education and ECD, Resilient households, Youth Development, Child Sponsorship, and Institutional effectiveness.
