African Partners for Child Poverty – APPCO is a child and women focused organization that powers community transformation, development and resilience at grassroots by focusing more on women rights and sexual reproductive health information, rights and access to inclusive education for young people.

Guided by our MISSION, “APPCO works in partnership with communities, civil society, and government to empower children and women to survive and thrive in ending poverty for healthy and sustainable well-being”,

Our VISION: “A society where children, women, and their communities are empowered and enjoy equal dignity and well-being free from poverty”.

Strategic Objectives:
  • To increase children’s access to and retention in quality inclusive Early Childhood Development (ECD), Basic education and life skills for young children and youth Special focus will be in promoting an inclusive Early Childhood Education (ECE) for marginalized children using APPCO community PlayUp model.
  • To reduce the risk of GBV and ensure that all survivors have timely and adequate access to quality services that meet their needs
  • To ensure that children and their caregivers in communities supported by APPCO can thrive in environments that are safe and which promote their rights and responsibilities.
  • To scale up and accelerate the uptake of HIV/AIDS services
  • To build the resilience of vulnerable communities to cope better with natural shocks and stressors while improving their socioeconomic well-being to grow their asset base.

To strengthen APPCO into an effective, efficient, responsive, and sustainable organization.
