Amo community Development Uganda (ACODEU) is a Non Governmental and not for profit community based organization (CBO) located in Butebo District 23.3 kilometres from Mbale City Centre in the Eastern part of Uganda. Our primary mission is to initiate programs that comprehensively empower the vulnerable individuals and communities.
We are an organization of integrity, accountability, equality, unity and competence. We engage in and carry on non profit making, non partisan and non sectarian activities based on love and non violence with the objective of improving the welfare of the underprivileged especially children, women, youth and persons with disabilities and the elderly.
We also promote education by soliciting for scholarships to be awarded to outstanding pupils/students who have the academic ability but have struggles to fund their studies without scholarships. Not only that, we also promote strategies aimed at prevention of HIV/AIDS and caring for the persons infected and or affected by HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases.
We work together with government departments, voluntary and charitable organizations, individuals both local and international to engage in our activities which are geared towards the achievements of these goals through collaboration/ partnerships.
