Strategic Interventions

CFI will contribute to an increased and sustained quality standard of living and equitable access to social services for 3,545 most Vulnerable PWDs and caregivers by 2027. With four specific objectives; Increased PWDs’ accessing positive and peaceful relationships in their families and communities; Increased most vulnerable people’s protection from infection and diseases; Increased children attaining quality basic education by the age of 7-16-year-old; and Increased sustainable income and resilience to shock and stress among most vulnerable communities. To achieve the outcome of the above objectives, CFI will use a holistic approach of models to achieve the project goal between 2023 to 2027.

Strategic approach

Given the strategic challenges faced by PWDs and their families, CFI will carry out interventions aimed at removing barriers in the 4 main areas to ensure reduced challenges faced by PWDs and improve on involvement, inclusion and engagement of PWDs in development processes. The strategic areas of intervention proposed have however been kept broad so that different interventions can be proposed and undertaken by the organization. It is believed that within the broad areas proposed, the organization can propose interventions that are best suited to the operational context.
