Back ground: Kaana Foundation for Outreach Programs (KAFOP) NGO operation permit: NO: INDP 108492814NB, and NGO Registration NO : INDR 109992814NB is a nonprofit making and non partisan Organization founded in 2007 in the Rwenzori Region of Western Uganda by a group of human rights activists and social workers to respond to issues that affect the community more especially the most vulnerable, marginalized and discriminated; through Human rights advocacy and awareness creation on public health issues Since its inception.
KAFOP has carried out programs in empowering communities to access government services through advocacy and building capacity of communities and leaders in HIV/AIDS prevention awareness and care among Key and Priority Population, Adolescents, women and children.
KAFOP also promotes the Fundamental rights of Children and women within the Rwenzori region.
