Thematic focus

Mission Uganda has core thematic areas of Child protection, Health, Education, Gender Justice, Livelihood & Advocacy.

Target groups.

  • The Institutional intervention targets the children, girls and women. The different target groups co-exist within the different thematic areas of implementation.

Strategic Objective:
Contribute to the overall community development through sustained empowered women & girls efforts in mainstreaming of crosscutting issues related to economic injustices, health challenges, literacy gaps, unpeaceful co- existence and inadequate representation of unprivileged women/girls.

Implementation Approach.
Mission Uganda embraces Community Led Development Approaches (CLDA) in fostering community interventions. To achieve this, we identify community structures/volunteers through support of sub county/district leaders at different levels to facilitate reporting & programme accountability across all levels but also to enhance sustainability of project interventions . Apparently, we work with a total of 118 volunteers with (15) in Gulu city, (40) in Gulu District, (53) in Omoro and (10) in Nwoya District respectively.
